Where Art and Technology Intersect: The Contemporary and Digital Art Fair

Art and Technology

In the midst of May auction previews and art fairs, Artory was thrilled to sponsor and attend the Contemporary And Digital Art Fair (CADAF), the first fair of its kind, at Lightbox NYC.

Artory was a sponsor of the Fair’s opening party, where attendees were immersed in digital installations and artworks. Our Founder and CEO, Nanne Dekking, purchased Cryptopunk #2134, and the transaction was recorded on OpenSea.

Throughout the weekend, the fair hosted several panels. Artory was in good company on the “Going Digital: Art, Data, and the Market” panel, which was comprised of representation from Christie’s, Phillips, the .ART domain, and Munich Re. The group discussed data transparency and the impact of technology and digital innovation in the art market. Other panels included prominent artists, museum professionals, digital gallerists, technologists, and art historians.
